On the front face of the handle, there is a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole with anti-twist divots. The 15mm rod port features a locking lever to secure the rod in place. The aluminum and stainless steel handle attaches to your camera or cage using the included spring-loaded thumbscrew.
The handle also features a 15mm rod port and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with and without anti-twist divots. The quick release handle's features include two cold shoe mounts, one in the front with a spring-loaded safety latch and the second on the back. This Tilta Quick Release Top Handle, in black, is a durable, sculpted top handle that attaches securely to a cold shoe and provides accessory mounting points, in addition to a top handle grip for your camera.

With the original battery grip mounted, the 15mm rod holder and 15mm rods can be installed to mount a follow focus, lens support, etc. Under the half cage setup, remove the bottom plate and secure it to the bottom of the battery grip. Additional features: CompatibilityĬompatible with the original battery grip from Blackmagic Design. The 90 Degree HDMI Adapter mounts to the cage near the camera’s HDMI port and offers a secure connection that limits wear on the port itself. This creates an extremely secure connection between your camera and drive. The included USB-C cable is able to screw into the SSD Holder and the Side Panel of the Cage near the USB-C Port. It can then clamp onto a Samsung T7 SSD drive, securing it to your camera setup and allowing you to record footage onto a separate SSD card. The SSD Drive Holder attaches directly to the Cage via a 1/4″-20 screw and locating pin. The Top Handle features additional ¼”-20 threads, cold shoe receivers and a horizontal 15mm rod holder for mounting external monitors or EVFs. This provides an extremely secure connection to comfortably handle and operate your camera system. The included Quick Release Top Handle can be attached to the top of the cage via a cold shoe receiver and ¼”-20 screw. An included 15mm rod mount can be installed to support 15mm rods in front of the camera body when using the Battery Grip in the Half Cage setup.
When using the Half Cage, the bottom plate can be extended to support the Black Magic Design Battery Grip for 6K Pro. The Bottom Plate provides several ¼”-20 mounting points for attaching your camera to various quick release plates and is compatible with the ARCA Receiver of the RS2 Mounting Plate. This offers more flexibility in situations where lighter builds are required such as when using a gimbal. The right side arm module can be removed to turn this Full Cage into a Half Cage.

It also features ARRI compatible rosettes, which are specifically designed for our Adjustable Top Handle Plus for more flexible operating and handling. The Full Cage offers several 1/4”-20 threads with locating pins, cold shoe receivers, a NATO Rail for Type IV and VI Side Handles, as well as Rod Attachment Ports for Tilta's Single Rod Holders.
